Oilshock discussions are for thoughtful conversation about oil and energy. Comments are public and linked to the username you use when posting.

Keep it useful

Stay on topic, explain your reasoning and link to sources where helpful. Distinguish facts from opinion. Disagree with ideas respectfully.

Keep it safe

No harassment, threats, hate, impersonation, personal information, spam, repeated promotions or coordinated manipulation. Do not post confidential information or reproduce articles you do not have permission to share.

Reporting and moderation

Signed-in readers can report a comment. Reports are private to Oilshock’s administrators. Reports do not automatically remove content. Administrators may remove comments or restrict access for abuse. Posting and reporting limits help control spam.

Your comments

You can remove your own comments. Removed text and the displayed author name are cleared; a placeholder may remain to preserve replies. Other readers may already have copied public content. To request help with account data, contact brent@oilshock.com. Read the privacy notice and account terms.
