Market data and charts

Live market widgets are provided by TradingView. The History page uses a fixed, dated EIA spot-price snapshot. Prices are indicative, may be delayed, and may differ from the prices on an exchange or from the contract your broker quotes. Several benchmarks, including Brent, have more than one widely quoted price, such as front-month futures and physical Dated Brent. Do not use Oilshock quotes to place trades.

Headlines, research and announcements come from agencies, companies and publishers such as the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the International Energy Agency, the UK government and press-release services. Links take you to their sites. We do not control or endorse that content, and company announcements are issued by the companies themselves. Commentary and forward-looking statements

The daily note and other commentary reflect information available when they were written. They describe what markets are weighing and are not predictions. Events can change quickly, and forecasts can be wrong.
